in the pantheon of boat designs. I think its a heavy offshore cruiser and thats what I bought it for but I have never bothered to look at the figures. That was the case with all my previous boats. Hillyard 8 tonner, Nich 36 and Fjord 33MS.I bought them because I thought they "looked right"
Unfortunately, my current boat is of a limited production so the magazines are not a source of the numbers. Maybe someone on the board can do the arithmatic for me and tell me I got it right or wrong! These are the only figures I have.
LOA 12,13
LWL 9.9
Beam 4.0
draft 1.72
Disp 9600 Kg(half load)
ballast 3650Kg

There is an American site, whose address I do not remember, where you can calculate what your boat is. The length on the waterline seems rather low compare with a modern design, my boat is 37 feet (11.3 metres) overall and 32 feet on the waterline. It weighs in at about 8500 with half fuel and water, and has a ballast ratio of 38%. The beam is 3.6 metres, so on that basis I guess you are right, your boat stacks up as a cruiser. A racer/cruiser would be much lighter.

Thanks Guys, had fun entering the numbers and finding out I was nearly right. She's just under being a "heavy" cruiser but not by much!
