So we took a six month summer drystack at a universally known marina on the Hamble. We had great fun and want to go back next year.
However the 6 month package runs out at beginning of October and we fancied extending the period by a month.
So would they come up with a bolt on a month offer, no. Did they look ahead and consider a happy customer would be more happy to return next year, no. Instead its "contract ends, goodbye". If the stack was full or had a waiting list then I would have understood, but it is not.
Phoning around it does not appear unusual on the coast, no flexibility or adaptability even when there is space and "money is money",
Still it looks like a more premier facility may be more happy to talk.
