when\'s the first punch-up

Boating season is now coming to an end, so it should only be a few weeks now before the forum gets into full winter swing. Doubtless El Moderatori has cancelled all his holidays in tense anticipation of having to roll up his sleeves and get the red cards ready.
And it always seems to be over some totally irrelevant topic! frequent forum reading necessary as its so frustrating t find the whole thread removed before being able to enjoy it.

Re: when\'s the first punch-up

Mine's going back in the water end of next month, so it'll be good to think of all you stinkies fighting it out in the Dog & Duck whilst we're out in a fresh breeze with clear anchorages, crisp clean days and evenings below with a good all-in stew, pipe and brandy fug-up . . . Ahh - well that's the dream anyway . . .

Waddya mean boating seasons coming to an end ! My season doesnt end at all, we stay onboard all year round with the help of a fan heater, an electric blanket and a bottle of malt.

Re: when\'s the first punch-up

might be a bit quieter this winter as our main sponsor has left away. Ahh, those marvellous discussions about engine choice, excessive safety equipment. TCM must be off the tranquilisers by now.
Mind you the GPS saga was so boring until it turned into a right old punch up!
Anyway, i m hoping red diesel goes up to £1 a litre.

Boats .. Boats !!

So how come you are here then ? Since when did CI 32 owners read IPC magazines ; shouldn't you be reading "Clapped out Commercial Fishing Boats'' ?. At least I buy the magazines ( creep, creep) , not scrounge them to wrap up my fish and chips.

And while we're at it IPC'ers , I want our "whites" back so that I can communicate with clever people , not oiks like this !

P.S. I'm not leaving if that makes you unhappy , cos that makes me happy ( as opposed to H1 of course) -:)

Re: hold my coat

Fwiw, I think H1 added a little something to the forum. I enjoyed the lighthearted banter and all the equipement reviews on here. At least the was a bit of debate and not people ramming stuff down yer neck.
Speed camera's are getting a bit old hat, exploding bogs and stinky holding tanks need flushing. No I say bring back H1 to liven the place up a bit.

All IMHO of course.

Bloody Welsh windbag, I expect N Kinnock is yer bestest mate.

I axshully founded that august mag, clapped out commercial fishing boats, glad that you are an avid reader. Still, best you return to Playboy and sheepshaggers weekly.
