When things go wrong ... mast problems ....

The 10mm bolts that are in the mast ... I extracted this morning and just to be on safe side when mast is stepped .... ground the centre part of the smooth shank so it was 1mm less diameter ...

I am reasonably sure the deck blade will not be near the bolts - but better to be sure !

Everything now fitted ....... bolts ... sheaves ... new halyards AND the errant Spinnaker halyard that was missing.

Mast has been wiped down with anti-mould to get rid of the areas of green ...

I will be fitting extra flag halyard eye's to the spreaders giving two each side later . At present I use the port side flag halyard for my Radar reflector ..

Thinking when to re-step !
