A friend of mine has had his yacht for sale for some time. An interested buyer who had also viewed, has flown back to the island yesterday with, he thought, a lift out arranged at another marina as no availability here. Bad news, comms problem, lift out cancelled. Mmm.
So I met him this morning down the marina at 1000 for a coffee and chat. 1025 we wandered over to the yard office. Any chance of a lift, pressure wash so we can do a visual under boat?
Yeah, OK, can do it now.
1045, in slings being lifted. Jetwashed.
1250 back on berth, boat put to bed, home for tea and stickies.
