What's your sundowner?

Tonight feels like a golden rum & OJ, sadly not Mountgay - some cheap stuff bought to appease customs in Tunisia but they preferred the white wine, pity!

Whatever comes to hand but it does rather depend on the situation. For instance, in a tropical clime I am tempted by a dark rum on ice, in Ireland I have a whiskey neat and in Scotland a whisky neat. G&T is an afternoon drink IMO and should be taken before sundown, strong with a good squeeze of lime and plenty of ice.

Not to put a downer on the thread but our doggy is going to the vet for the last time today so tonight we will probably be drinking something in celebration to a great boat-dog. She came with an old curragh 14 years ago and being a Irish Kerry blue terrier was the same colour as it. I am not sure whether it will be champagne to celebrate a life well lived with plenty of sea miles or some good hard whiskey to drown our sorrows. Perhaps both! :(:)

Fine dogs, celebrate her life and the fact that you could cope with a KB!

Sorry to hear that, looks a fine breed - no trouble with rats on board. Perhaps a black velvet to combine the celebration with the sombreness of the day
