we were going to call our boat Christina (my name Chris, wifes name is Tina), but would had to be Christina VI due to already boats called that on the Thames. So at the last minute without wifes knowledge, I changed it to Jersey Girl as the other half is from Jersey - Glad I did think of it last minute as think its a better name then Christina.

Current boat is a Sunseeker Comanche and I have been hooked on Bond since dad took me to see Moonraker at the cinema as a child. Spectre was the baddies in the first films and the name of the new film. It seemed the only choice for me.

Wife loves jewellery, mostly diamonds! As most do. Seemed fair to name the boat Sapphire after all if I didn't buy a boat, she would have just bought more Diamonds

Named after the Orca (killer whale) who was in the film "Free Willy"

Don't like to see these magnificent creatures in captivity and as they eat fish, amongst others, it seemed to fit our new Merry Fisher.

We thought of many other names, but always came back to Keiko.

Mach a Seo pronounced Mack a Shaw, its Gaelic for "out of here"
She was named by a friend of mines wife, its a quote from another Gaelic speaking friend.
I liked the sound of it, and when I get tomthe boat, its time to "get out of here"

Sadly he passed away only a couple of months before we took delivery but a promise made is a promise kept.

Our,s is Too Calm , Calm is the first initial of my two daughter,s swmbo and my name, first boat was Calm Voyager,
Tender is named Calm Down which was my first choice , for main boat, but I would end up cracking up making a call ,

...because Mrs FP is quite into gardening, and I am not any kind of hippie.

The name actually appeared after the second bottle of wine, when we were trying to have a serious discussion going through a list of very standard names.
Somehow it came up, and seemed to fit.
