"Blow Me". As I was a young man at the time I saw it on a huge muscle boat on The Lake of Garda, I even had to put it on my boat at the time, a CC 245 LTD. - Then a friend saw it and named his boat "Blow Me Too"
One that I use when talking about boat names during the VHF course - "Our Souls" was based in Poole. VHF not being an overly clear medium can lead to misinterpretation!
Another I heard of and then subsequently saw was a Sunseeker based in Portsmouth called the "Wife"
I was on QHM patrol a few years ago and a call came through for QHM - "QHM this is the wife" QHM responded as quick as a flash - "I hope not!" Brought a smile to all those that heard it.
"The Wife" (was a Princess 42 now a Phantom43) called QHM asking to cross from ballast to Gun Wharf to which QHM replied to "This is The Wife" QHM - " I hope not! "
very funny at the time
There was once a BP tanker called "British Flag" which caused all sorts of problems when entering foreign ports "yes we understand your flag state - what is the name" etc etc
Back on page 2................I just dont get it............The Italians must have the same meaning for the name in the picture!!! Why do it?????? Why????? Still LMBO at that one, Slipper 1, good also. I hope my mention of ANKA didnt offend anyone, but when he was wallowing all over the place in front of expertly driven motor boat in Cowes.............we just couldnt fail to exclaim the same word at the same time.
Some of these are seriously funny guys........ I'll be keeping my eyes peeled this weekend around the Solent!
