What's the best roller to use ?

'I put an 8x4 on the roof with straps through the open windows.

Oh forgot its very cold in the UK at the mo.

30 C here today and all the week
Well you probably have a shagged out old motor. Some of us do not. Plus, I do not want to garotte the wife when, I put the brakes on.
By the way, If I laid on the floor, I could not reach the hull ,as I have 1.800 draft & the boat is on 150mm chocks. So I sit on a chair to do the keel. 🫣

My cars may be old but not shagged out as our cars do not rust away as in the UK as no salt on our roads.

It's a Toyota and at 150 000 Km is just getting run in as it is the same design as came second in the Dakar this year but mine is 3 lit Diesel

It's interesting that some people simply make assumptions with no knowledge as in Ass U Me.

I don't myself use a garage creeper as my boat draft is 2.1 Meters so like you, I use s chair or a roller on a pool to reach all parts of my boat but I do have access to willing people who will paint my boat saving me the effort.

But you are happy with scratch marks from sheets of ply all over the roof?

No, I place foam cushions on the roof first.

Its just a little through that is needed.

I carried a plywood kit dingy tied the side of my car door handles from Southampton boat show to home in. Birmingham.

I towed a 18 meter mast from Cape Town to Johannesburg (1400Km) and an extended trailer then down to Durban (600Km) some time later
