What\'s it worth?

I'm thinking of buying 1/4 of an acre of a friends garden with 75 ft mooring Maidenhead area - what do people think is a fair price?

Depends on a multitude of factors. Firstly are you confident the plot has mooring rights? Just because you own waterfront does not automatically confer mooring rights. The local authority needs to be consulted to see if there's planning permission. How well is the plot serviced, is there mains electric, water etc. How accessible is the plot, can you put anything on it, does it flood, is it direct or towpath, etc. etc.
Having ascertained all that the price you offer is what value it is to you.
