Hi build epoxy primer first
And then two pack in the sane colour as the hi build primer
Because . For a bit more work you get a better looking finish that ensures and as Stemar quite rightly points out, white scratches in blue are awful!
Sml Jotun is pretty ok to use and inexpensive

Yes, from a metre away if the amateur uses a good roll and tip technique. 10 metres if he does a sloppy job, but only for the first year or two. After that, wear and tear will even things out. After 5 or six years, the amateur job will look better than the pro because the amateur can afford to do a repaint. The guy who went pro will be having palpitations over how much the cost of a repaint has gone up.
