What's happened to Patrick Laine

Just found his boat for sale. I wonder what next. Pogo? JPK? or something bigger?

I've been mulling over the 890+ for a while. I can't find anything similar size that I would prefer so I wonder if he's swallowing the anchor?

LOA is the French language term for Location avec Option d'Achat, the typical boat financing scheme a financing company buys the boat and rents it to you long term against payment of regular installments, at the end of the contract you have the option to become the owner by paying a small amount. The boat probably still has an on-going financing plan, which the buyer might find advantageous.

Why?
I got to know this couple quite well a few years ago (17/18 by memory) in Williams and Montt.

RM worked for them in patagonia but they sold her in FP with an eye to buying something bigger.
In Patagonia bigger is not always better.
