What to seal deck fittings with?

I have leaks coming from my genoa tracks and stanchions and need to re seal, thanks.

Thanks folks, that is great. I watched a boat builder replace his deck fittings on his IF Boat and he said someone had used the wrong stuff like silicon sealant or something. He mentioned Butyl for the mast plate and said it was excellent stuff. Thanks for the Link Northwind, I have sent you a message!
