Sunglasses are out as my next pair will have prescription lens. Just started wearing glasses for driving and I have found the ability to see very helpful despite my over riding vanity!

My Wife and Daughters gave me a budget of £160 for my birthday present last week.

One trip to Machine Mart saw me with a lovely gasless MIG Welder, spare tips, gloves and a few other bits. The welder itself was a current model return at £100 instead of £160, so allowed me to also get the accessories.


Also a bit of searching may find a new Chineber heater. I have chanced my arm on an extra one for £37 but not sure if this will ever materialise !

Some Teng tools are on the way. A lovely 1/4” socket set, also some 12v led backlit push switchs for a project on the boat I have in mind and a magnet knife holder for the galley as I am sick of my knives rattling around.

Thank you for the lead on Teng tools. I think I have just found a new hobby collecting those. They look great.

I dread to think how much damage I would do with a welder!
