anyone tried to obtain and replace the foil on a hood seafurl? Is it worth the hassle? If not what would you recomend at the low end of the price range thanx nick.

Hi. I replaced the bearings in my seafurl. Wont say it was cheap but at least the bits were available. Dont know the etiquette for putting someone elses e-mail on the board so send me a personal e-mail or whatever and I will give you the details... PLUS if you do go for a new one ....I'm desperate for a feed arm assembly with the s/s shield.

You will be better off, replacing it with a new Plastime system. Easy to fit, no need to drop the stay and very very cheap.

I have been very impressed with my Profurl, supplied with genoa by Crusader sails.
Many other boats use Furlex. Frankly Plastimo products are cheap for a reason, IMHO of course!!

Can't fault Harken. Might even be a bit cheaper now, or is there a special exchange rate for boat stuff?
