I've just had a quote from Sealift in Cowes:
Lift, scrub & relaunch: £105
Hold & antifoul yourself, own paint: extra £100
Hold, they antifoul with your paint: extra £200
Anode replacement not included of course.
All figures plus VAT.
I think Shepperton on the Thames were charging about £39/m including lift out, pressurewash and one coat of antifoul. But that was a special summer deal.
Shepperton price is £7/ft for sea, slightly less for fresh water. For one coat of antifoul you should not have to pay more than £20 to £25 per meter. These prices excluding lift out pressure wash etc, For a 26fter anything more than £300 and you are being robbed
friends boat 35' £200 plus paint supplied by himself. My boat only a couple of hundred including paint, but that was a special price. Normal price would have been not much more than £300. South coast prices
I would second that no more than £300 including paint is about right.
what are you including?
Lift out?
Pressure wash?
sand blasting /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
barrier coat (dont know what you got on there, mate)
three coats of premium a/f
rollers, paintbrushes, masking tape, full HSE clothing, masks, decontamination chamber
labour
travel
= £500,000
Agreed, anti foul is so easy. If you can push a roller, you can anti foul your boat. I'd sooner anti foul it myself, and pay someone else to polish, cos that's a horrible job.

Yes didn't like to say that, actualy AF £29.95 on a special, last years brush and that done 32ft /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif I personaly wouldn't consider paying someone but that was the question /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif
I used to do my old Sunfury 26. £70 for Blakes Tiger Cruising, £5 for 6 radiator rollers and plastic tray, £2 for wide masking tape. Takes 4 hours with coffee breaks. OK you need a lift out, power wash and lift back, but all part of annual maintenance - anodes etc.
