I have a colvic Watson 23.5 with a 1500 BMC engine, and I have no propeller currently as it fell off. After some time and being finally lifted the measurements for prop shaft are 25mm with a 1:10 taper. The keyway is 6mm. And I’ve got a 14”x13” prop to fit but I seem to get confused with the locking nut size. Can anyone help please. Many thanks.

If you take notice of and do what you are advised then it will save a lot of repetition
My point with this thread is that the measurements I provided last time were vague and incorrect. The measurements I have just provided are accurate and I have provided more information! I’m not trying to be repetitive in all fairness, I just want to get my boat running properly and thought that a boating forum MAY be able to help me. But thank you for your speedy reply.

The best way forward is to measure the thread diameter with calipers. Post the results here and we can tell you half of what you need. We then have to decipher the pitch, we can possibly do this with a rule or tape measure and counting the threads along a given length. Where is the boat?
