what liveaboard boat?

thats what i was thinking, most new production boats, arnt really built that strongly compared with older yachts.

i had a look on the net, and i quite like the southerly 110/115 yacht also the nauticats... not many southerlys on the market second hand .. seem v expensive..

Sounds like we are in a similar situation. We are also looking to do a big trip but too early to retire and sell up. My solution is to sell up and invest in buy to rent property and live off the income. Re Boats we have an X412 which, though bigger, will be as light and potentially skittish as a First and I would go for fast and light everytime, having had both.

i have just seen the new sadler 29 bilge keel yacht, and i rekon it would be perfect for the job? why are they so expensive?
