It's your negative bus bar.
Connects together the -ve returns from various circuits and then runs them as one larger wire back to the power source.

A very tidy bit of wiring. Protect it from corrosion with a water repellent like clear Waxoyl comes in an aerosol can.

Since this is a negative bus bar, then there must be a positive bus bar somewhere, right?
If I want to add some equipment or a new LED reading light, I don't need to wire all the way to battery but just connect to the +/- bus bars instead, right?
By the way, the bus bar in my photo seems to be full, is there any way to "expend" it if I want
to add new equipment?
