I have recently bought a small sailing boat.
18ft long, Red hull with white top sides. Metal bilge keels bolted inside lockers.
When I bought it, it was described as a sailfish 18, which I now know it is not !
It has a Self draining cockpit and two side windows in cabin with 4 berths (two up front and two below seating at stern). It has a forward hatch at the front.
The mast is stepped witha wooden pole underneath giving it support.
On the forward deck is an anchor locker and there is a locker on the aft section.
The forestay is attached to the mast approx 3/4 of the way up and has an adjustable split backstay.
The engine is placed on bracket at back. There are no markings or plates at all ???

Is there any insignia or emblem on the mainsail which would identify your boat?

When you say 2 windows do you mean one each side or two each side? You do mean just bilge keels and no centre keel don't you? Is the rudder transom mounted or a spade rudder, is it skeg mounted? Is there a fixed galley? If so is it to port, to starboard or athwartships?

Just a shot in the dark ....Foxcub?.....certainly has some of the features you mention

Ah apart from the keel arrangement you describe almost all sail boats in this class size and a good arrangement too. You should enjoy the boat and stop worrying about it's parentage. So many aspects like number of windows could be varied by home builders or even manufacturers. Just keep an eye on those bilge keel attachments in the locker as I imagine there would be a lot of strain when grounding especially in choppy water. Now if you have the urge to modify it. How about fitting a centre board case and a lifting balasted F/g keel to make it easy to go on a trailer or able to take the ground easily on the mud. This may improve performance, the long keel would lift out through the cabin roof. Sorry I am dreaming but that is the arrangement on my boat and it works well. good luck will
