I have just removed the vinyl type lining from the cabin sides so as to get to the stanchon bolts under the gunwale. It peeled back without too much difficulty and I did not have to tear or cut anything. What is the best adhesive to use to put it back, so should I need to remove it again it will peel back easily.

I had to reglue some drooping headlinings back on to a plywood base a few days ago and used a spray adhesive from a local carpet warehouse - the type they use to stick down carpet, capet tiles or vinyl. The following day I realised I'd missed a bit and it peeled back off again with no trouble. Not too aggresive (unlike contact adhesive) so looks like it's pretty good for the job.

I've used EVOSTIK eight years ago, it worked well, and still holds. Got it from the car parts shop.
