Shame that 'offie' moored off Hartlepool got scuppered.

I enjoyed WW, although it was slated by the critics. I'll never forget the scene where the old white bearded guy down in the oil tank yelled out in joy when he knew his time was up as the flaming wood or whatever it was fell into the tank.

I did a post on boaty movies a year or so ago, and it was surprising how few there seemed to be that had sports cruisers in them. Even corronation street managed that recently!

I suspect that they crop up mainly in porno movies. Perhaps I should research the subject /forums/images/icons/wink.gif

Well, someone on here should be able to help you /forums/images/icons/wink.gif, and that kind of research should get a lot of volunteers,/forums/images/icons/smile.gif but dare you publish the results.

Not too familiar with the last one Pauline.

Could you summarise the plot, and let's see if it springs to mind.

Thanks,

Martyn

I was in Cowes and invited by the German skipper of a 60 ft saily job some years back .to join him and some friends to watch 'Das Boot'.
It was the full 4 hours plus job. I dont think I have ever enjoyed a WW2 Submarine film so much. Very sobering and very thought provoking, not exactly light entertainment but worth keeping in your library.
