Good little engines looked after they would run all day just occasionally the front plug could foul up, the trick was to open the gap a few thou.
A friend had one in a canal launch on the Bridgewater at Lymm, I rebuilt it for him in the 1980s as far as I know it is still running.

Is the inlet manifold heated from the exhaust, for a parafin conversion possibly?
