I assume the COKE and gin is to induce vomiting

Antibiotics were no longer available over the counter last time I was in the Canaries. used to be so they said but the law had changed. What I was told in the farmacia anyway.

Antibiotics definitely not available over the counter in spain now. Prescription controlled as in the UK.

My UK GP was extremely helpful in preparing a pack of controlled drugs for an atlantic crossing and even got the nurse to give me a run through on a couple that would need muscular injection. Never needed any of it luckily!
