My old pump has died. I have a small old Avon amd a medium sized Zodiac.

It may be worth looking for one that also evacuates, as that can make the dinghy easier to stow. My current Avon pump does this and I have seen the same sold under another name, presumably the maker.

being double acting they are quick. You also get an upper body workout.
This is the marine version, expect to pay under a fiver for the red ones in the cheap shop.

Well then you need one of these:

Note it draws up to 20 amps so best to use croc clips to battery, and make suer if you extend the lead you use some reasonable sized cable. Its very well built and takes no time to pump up my 3 mtr Avon blimp.

Don't be tempted by one of the cheap camping bellows pumps. I tried them; they may be OK for an airbed, but for an inflatabubble they are useless. Far too flimsy.
The only decent one which I have come across was the old Avon pump, but it comes at a price.

Personally though, I prefer an electric pump, with a double acting hand pump to top up.
