Going down to the boat tonight for the start of a week pottering about. Doing my VHF course on Monday then a short trip to Salcombe for a day or two with a day at Dartmouth on the way back.

Picked the weather for it, didn't I

For some reason, we're off for two weeks, sailing (motoring) down to Falmouth, then hopping back. First time for years we're going to have sun, so can't complain. should be really relaxing. Come and have a chat if you see us. Can't miss the old girl (boat not wife)

This thread has turned into a really nice snapshot of having fun on the water - really making me tempted to not finish the board papers I'm supposed to be working on and sneak off early and load the car.

Not sure that the anti fouling goes into the fun category though.

finishing off the restoration of a triumph herald my misses and I have rebuilt it over the winter err it is now bright pink ;-) hey she loves it.
But then Tuesday back to boat I put new engine and box in last week did some new rubbing strake on the transom. This week once new goose neck and water lock arrive, I'll get engine finished re connections then make/fit new anchor locker for the sl winch with a water tight hatch inside the bows. Remake a new berth in the bows lol goes on aye then if the new second hand baby blake is ok get that fitted and then blaw blaw blaw

cheers

Sleeping onboard tonight, off in the morning for a race from Cowes to Poole, racing back on Sunday (if there is any wind).

Wind or not we will be enjoying the sunshine on the boat, hope it's like this in a month's time when I have two weeks booked :-)

Saturday went as planned up until the point the oil pressure light came on, shortly afterwards accompanied by an alarm, shortly afterwards to be followed by "Not sure that the Bilges should be full of all."

So Monday now to be spent finding a Volvo engineer who wants to help empty my bank account.
