Something a lot better than what I had last night, I hope!

I have travelled all over the world and lived in Hong Kong, so I've eaten some pretty unpleasant things but nothing that looked and smelt so bad, or tasted so vile, as the Fray Bentos Steak and Kidney Pudding that I tried to eat last night. Sh!t-in-a-blanket would be a mild description.

Can you really cope with two at once????? /forums/images/graemlins/blush.gif /forums/images/graemlins/shocked.gif /forums/images/graemlins/confused.gif /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

They look kinda chewy (the crustaceans).
Since you ask, I was working in Arbroath this morning and picked up two pair of smokies, still hot from the barrels.
I'll flake 'em, saute garlic, add cream and fish, toss in linguine.
Yum.

I'm being taken out by the guy who bought my last boat. Going to a pub in Askham near Penrith.
I may have sausages.

but more likely, lamb.

Ended up having stuffed quail on a bed of beanshoots in a chilli based dressing.

Followed by summer pudding with blueberries and strawberries in lieu of Creme Anglais, (which I can't eat).

Yum Yum

Lock keeper told me a Mackerel recipe he was shown last week.

As fish lands in boat, gut, top and tail. Add sea salt, pepper, soy sauce and sesame seed oil into pan with lid. Add fish and cook for five minutes plus, on lowish heat, turning frequently.

Eat.
