This clip of some sort is fouling my anchor chain , I thought I’d ask you guys before removing , I can’t imagine what they could be For, they are identical to the clips, if you like that are used to attach the reefing eyes on the main when reefing , they look like an after thought , I’ve only had her two weeks ....

Tack point for the jib in pre-furler days. The boat also seems to lack a bow roller or proper hawse for your anchor chain.

I guess an ex-racer ? They look a bit light for tack points, so perhaps for cunningham or downhaul ?

If you are contemplating cruising, you will certainly need an anchor fairlead, pref a double one as that makes life so much easier for mooring.

It has a small bow roller fwd of the clip, it’s hid , it’s a real pain when pulling the chain up so I think ill do away with the clip
