You could see the smoke plume from Penarth seafront at 8am, even through the haze. It didn't half go up !

Penarth ? you could see smoke drifting down channel from Port Talbot . I thought the haze was just unusually grubby until I heard about the Pier /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif

Came back from Porlock Bay yesterday. Loads of burnt timber evident off Steep Holm. Very sad.
