Im going to look at one next week if I get the time. Thanks for the further replies re the leeway from Vic and the mud from Seajet are both helpful. This one is a ketch, but I do like ketches anyway for their versatility in heavy weather.

I bought a Pentland Ketch new in 1978, and kept it for 5 years. Mrs pvb & I had a lot of fun with it, as inexperienced sailors. It was reassuringly solid and stable; although maybe not the most exhilarating sail. We cherish many happy memories of that boat.
