West Mersea - mooring and going ashore advice

Please do not nick mine and leave the boat.....I get irked about that - and its happened before which is inexcusable. These days I try to leave a sign saying back later. The launchmen generally know which are free for the day or overnight - that saves you moving.

maybe i'm just lucky - YC1 has always been first rate. i did once pick up a mooring a long time ago before calling them but called immediately to check it was properly 'vacant'.

Went over on Tuesday and the launchman couldn't have been more speedy, pleasant and helpful both in allocating a bouy and taking us ashore, there was no way we could have moored the tender as every inch was covered in kids with crab lines. A couple of beers at the club and a really good if somewhat gargantuan lunch at the Oyster Bar, we will certainly return.

Is that you anchored off Pin Mill at the moment?
