We're back...

Neil,
I bet your really pleased to get her back home. Just outrun the weather!
The delivery skipper phoned me on Friday to say that he was setting off on Saturday to sail Solene to her new owner Bjorn, in Sweden by the direct route.
I was very pleased when I popped in to the marina on Sunday to buy some polish for my new boat Whirl'n Dervish, to see Solene still safely tied up there. I think he must of taken a sensible pill on Saturday.
Whirl'n Dervish is Squib 812 which I hope will keep me amused.

Chris.
Good call... it looked pretty breezy by Sunday morning!

Good luck with the Squib... just the right boat for you!!!

Hats off to you, Neil. I worry about marinas in my little wtin keeler, how you manage that beauty in close confines is beyond me!

A bowthruster was the first addition we put on Mermaid after our trip around Italy and back home.
Long keel, lots of windage up high etc.
One of the best things we could have done....
