Well, if I can't have an Amel - there's always Boréal...

Please join the end of the queue.

Bumped into an American family in Brittany four years ago on the start of a big adventure France, Panama, Galapagos, Cape Horn, South Georgia, Ireland, Scotland, the Baltic, France, Falmouth (where we caught up with them again) and back to the US of A. Extremely impressed with the engineering of the boat, just need a more cash than I have and a long wait for delivery.

Hello John,
one should be "Mizar", they are based there, we spent some time with them (half dutch half japanese family of four), cape verde, azores etc. Nice boat it is. Should you see them, tell them Roberto says hello, we have become close friends.
Also, a couple of other French friends have theirs to be delivered next year, then on to the Arctic.

Fair winds on your way back..

Hi Roberto,

The boat is there but currently the family isn't. However I did see them on the outward leg. Both Dutch and Japanese flags are flying.

Thanks for your good wishes and hopefully there will be fair winds. I haven't encountered any on this whole trip so far....

How are you doing and when can we expect you back at the base...??

Bon vent aussi.

Right there in Locmiquelic at the moment, same old place C pontoon, I am wintering the boat during the next few days (how can I move a 3m kayak with my twingo?). There are a couple of new UK boats who have recently had a yearly contract, one in purgatory Pen Mane. :D

Bon courage John!

Bought the Euromillions ticket today. I only do it if the jackpot is > 100M....

(I am sure I'll still be here tomorrow, though :( )

by the way, Sandy and I are at the top of the queue.

Syb: I make this pledge public. If I do win the £122M jackpot, you get a cheque for an Amel and Sandy gets one for a Boreal. Then we can all go off on a celebratory cruise together (and to hell with Bxit)

Brilliant, am looking to visit a number of small islands in the Southern Ocean.

look: why don't we sail as a flottilla to Patagonia, leave one of the boats there and go with the other over to S Georgia and beyond? SWMBO is rather cool on the idea of SG, but I *might* convince her to come to Patagonia... thereafter I will need some company. We can go with yours, if you wish... or mine. Anyway, the £122M will be enough to finance that trip too...

With £122m you can bring Patagonia here...

Thanks for your kind offer and, of course I will reciprocate.

Need to buy a ticket first though....
