i did take a second look when i saw you used 16,000L of fuel but i guess thats insignificant if you compare the charter cost and fuel of a similar boat!

Wouldnt mind betting you have spent more in fuel in the past 12 months than i have on the boat including the purchase!!!

Thank you kindly Mike - enjoyed your diesel bug report too as a fellow sufferer. Interestingly though only ever in the UK and Northern France. Never had it in the med despite people telling me the higher temperatures exacerbated the problem.
