Full Circle came out of the water on last nights tide, around 4pm.
I serviced the Kiwiprop, 2 coats of Trilux, changed the shaft anodes, greased the keel screw thread and bearings all last night.

They have changed the main heads sea cock, cleaned the hull of the green stuff around the waterline, applied 2 coats of antifoul, including the drop keel, and splashed it back in the water tonight.

Not a bad 24 hours, methinks.

We had to rusharound a bit, or we would have been neaped for a couple of weeks.

Well done Biff and John, thanks for the effort.

The last time they did anything for me they pressure washed the prop on my mechanical log and bent the needle against the stop, wrecking it. When I broached the subject with a long term yard employee he denied all knowledge and declared it impossible. This event was why it was the last thing they did for me as I took my business and boat elsewhere. Great service is being great when things go wrong.
IMHO.

PS id check that sea cock /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Hmm, you could all be right. £2/foot for antifouling is a monstrous price.

Besides, choice: lift now and have it done, or be neaped out of the water for 2 weeks during a very warm bit of the season?

Bit of a no brainer. Thats me that is. A no brainer.
