Hi Folks,
Just starting to rewire my boat.
Just wondering if anyone can recommend sites to go and buy the tinned wire, bus bar, distribution board and all that stuff.

Thanks
Vida

Genuinedealz.com has been good for me. Even after carriage costs it's been cheaper than anywhere else I've come across.

All the ones I use have been mentioned already, but second recommendations for KojayCat, IEM Services, and Furneaux Riddall.

Just a thought but so far we have concentrated on price, if you are looking for high quality stuff then just go to a Blue Sea Systems stockist for everything including Ancor marine cable, when a job will stand it or if I'm working to 0400 standard and I use it I am always impressed just how much better it is, cables nicer to run and handle, kit well made and heavily tinned, no push on terminals etc.

+1

Having just completely rewired Phoenix, I have noticed that Blue Sea Systems stuff is standout for its quality.

Agree with you on Blue Sea quality, which is why I suggested Powerstore, who stock many Blue Sea and BEP products, as well as marine grade cable and fittings.

Thanks for all the replies gents.
Really helpful.

Whats 0400 standard ?

I think I'm gonna need another book.. working off the PBO one...

Its a westerly centaur, and I've no plans (or use) for shore power, so I reckon the wiring is going to be basic enough.
