Webmaster - slight gripe

Bye and large the cookie system works well, showing which threads have new msgs since my last visit. But where a thread contains an nm msg which I haven't bothered to 'open', then that nm msg keeps showing as 'new' until I open it to read the zero content.

Is there a way of fixing this?

No, not as things stand. We don't have a mark-as-read facility but thanks for raising it. As and when we look at some development to the code we'll keep your comments in mind in case it proves possible to implement.
