Webbing straps.

I need two 750mm webbing straps made up.

Anyone know a place that will make them up for sensible money?

I looked at the website but they only seem to sell complete sets. I just need two short straps.
I can by 3 tonne webbing for £30 and stainless eyes are another £20 for decent ones.

I just don't have the sewing machine (or the skill) to make them up

Another vote for rapid marine.

They now do a lot of OEM stuff for the big builders. They will ensure the webbing really is the correct stuff, the fittings do genuinely comply with relevant requirements and most importantly the stitching & thread is correct.

In hindsight I am embarrassed by our old tender lifting straps. Thank goodness we never had an accident.

I seem to recall that when I wanted some short ones made up from RM, I spoke to them and they said to order the next size up online and just put in the comments box what size you want them cut down to, which is what I did.

Problem is they only do complete sets - 4 straps.
I only want 2 as the other 2 I have already are the correct length.

What you need is a Sailrite sewing machine. Deleted User would say that is mumsnetty but I'm sticking to my guns!

Jez, look at Ready made construction straps. these are the ones attached to fork lifts for lifting bags of sand etc. This company makes up all sizes at a fraction of Marine prices.
