So on our heating we have an outlet by the galley one in each bedroom none in the saloon but one in the stern under canvas is that normal

Heating often retro fitted - so outlets where the iwver at the time wanted them

Since heat rises outlets low down in the cabins and galley will slowly warn the saloon .
Also if a smaller system fitted I’d choose bedrooms kvercsutting rooms for heat.

Outlet in the cockpit very normal - lovely in the off season. With the tent up gives you an extra room,

Each to their own I suppose, it depends where people are, but your boat is in N Wales, right? If you guys cook in the galley daily, you'll prob rarely need to heat it, so you could turn the slats in that warm air outlet right down. Slightly off season in UK evenings, the main cabin temperature can dip quite quickly so I found it's a good idea to have a warm air outlet at floor level in the main cabin just where my crew sits. We keep the bedroom outlets turned most of the way down year round, for obvious reasons. In my experience, off season, heating the cockpit in the UK is a waste of energy, since you will spend most of your time in the main cabin. Others may disagree, but see sentence #1, lol. The biggest prob with my warm air CH is that the ali tubes in the engine room must be removed before I can get to work on the far side of that damn starboad engine.
