Since my last post I think I have got my webasto problem sussed.

The supply fuses are the wrong way round so the glow plug has been biffing the smaller fuse... Before i go up to sort this out at the weekend i need to be fully prepared..

The motor runs at start up - straight away - I think this is probably because it is stuck in a lock out purge....

The manual (i found it!) suggets that after a lock out the heater needs resetting... Is there a pop switch that needs to be reset? If so where on the unit is it? will that acheive a reset?

advice from past HL18D masters much appreciated!

thanks

This is correct - there is a round rubber grommit on the top of the unit - under this is a switch (push button) for reset. It is a micro switch - so its only got a tiny movement - when I first did it I thought the switch was broken / jammed - but its a tiny switch so be aware of that when using it.

Good luck with it!

Jonny
