So I have worked out where I am going to run the exhaust from the Webasto, and there are even a couple of fibreglass cross-pieces across the bottom of the inside of the cockpit coaming moulding that I can hang it from . . . but how should I hang it from there? Is there some kind of circular stand-off I could use?

You can make up brackets from metal strip. The neatest way to deal with the exhaust is to lag it and then slide it inside a length of 50mm air ducting.

I just wrapped a couple of extra layers of exhaust bandage around it with a larger rubber lined stainless p clip attached to a short strip of stainless to make a home made stand off bracket. On full power the bracket barely gets warm.

These big P-clips are what Eber supply in their kits.
A big Jubillee-type clip and a U section of metal strip screwed to the bulkhead etc. does the job too.

That looks as though it is attached to a bit of 60mm air ducting, not the 24mm exhaust.

No, it's the exhaust as supplied by Eber: 24mm flexible stainless pipe surrounded by woven glass insulation and contained in a c. 50mm flexible alu ducting.
I suppose you could install just the 24mm piping without any form of insulation but I wouldn't in my boat.

The Webasto kit comes with an insulation sock which the P clip fits over, its all that is needed and you can easily hold it after about 30 mins running, have never found the need for anthing more over dozens of installs. I really don't like the way Eber do it as it makes the exhaust integrity difficult to check during service inspection without dismantling, usually means it doesn't get done.
