The web site http://weather.gmdss.org/ provided all metarea bulletins plus other information, it now appears to be down ?
The top right corner indicates:
gmdss.org expired on 01/15/2016
not sure what "expired at a future moment" means, but information is not available.

This site is where Saildocs requests for metarea bulletins are routed, so at the moment anyone using saildocs queries (or airmail/sailmail) of the type "Met.1", Met.2 etc is not getting any answer.
Alternative addresses should be found until the gmdss.org site is back, for example for Metarea I a query@saildocs.com with the text below will give the bulletin
"send http://www.metoffice.gov.uk/weather/marine/shipping_printable.html"
or for Metarea II - East Atlantic in English
"send http://www.meteo.fr/marine/naviweb/bulletins/ATL_LARGE.html"

That waterspout vid on your site is quite something. Talk about close!!
And yes we are getting a pasting here in the UK, with more to come esp later this week!!

Hello David,
here too, the first winter storm was on December 24th, it has not stopped since, gale strong gale storm after storm.. this year it's more waves waves waves than exceptional winds, rivers are full, they can't discharge and entire coastal villages have flooded... happily tide ranges are not big these last days.
It's the first year I left the boat in the water during winter :D
