Does anyone have recommendations for sources of coastal weather forecasts for the coasts of The Netherlands, Germany, Denmark, Sweden and southern Norway?

Thanks in advance.

Any GRIB based service you prefer. They are based on a few NWP models, so use whichever presentation you prefer. You might like to look at WeatherPro. I think that they use ECMWF. A small charge for the service, one off I think. A good presentation and comprehensive.8 days, alpha-numeric and graphical.

But, without internet connection there are Weather forecasts broadcast from -

Netherlands VHF 23 & 83 O805, 1305, 1905, 2305

Denmark VHF in Danish and English 4-hourly from 0133 UTC

Germany, DP07: at 0745*, 0945*, 1245, 1645*, 1945* LT. * indicates 4-5 day outlook.

Sweden: VHF in Swedish and English at 0600 and 1800 UTC.

Norway: VHF in Norwegian, 3-hor;y from 0900LT

A good, reliable source of schedules etc is the BSH Wetter und Warnfunk. In German but well presented. You may have to use Google translate at times but it is largely understandable to someone who did German for two years at school in the late 1940s and rarely had to use the language since.

The VHF forecasts can still be useful, and were all we had available for many years. It was the Vlissingen one that told us of a change in the weather and let us depart when we had already booked but not paid for our ferry tickets.
