I’m sure you’ll find that there’s a propeller of some sort inside the jet pump.

Hi there, so in November's issue of Motorboat, on page 80, there is a new jet system that is a third of the price of a bow thruster. It is claimed to be better, more efficient, cheaper to maintain and a DIY install.

I seem to remember vetus did a water jet bow thruster years ago. Didn't stay on the market long.
It's a bit like a water hose. Out of the water it seems to have a lot of force. In the water the force disappears.

Wouldn't it be better to have a slightly weaker thruster than too powerful? Seeing that dock approach in slow motion?

On a windy day....a week thruster causes that dock to get further and further away.....or the complete opposite
