.....and had a lovely time. we couldn't take our boat - too far to travel so we hired this nice little motor boat..........
.......and popped across the ditch. It was a bit cloudy when we left but when we got to our attic lodgings the sun came out.............
which was nice as we could only afford the room right at the top...........
unfortunately it was already taken.........
Our friends went too, but had a bit of a problem manouvering in the canal entrance poor dears...........
Then we popped down the road and bought some choccies for the kids and some baccy for me in this quaint little village where they hardly ever see a foreigner.........
They've got open ditches there you wouldn't believe.......
....and then we came home again in another hired motor boat..........
I'm a bit annoyed though, we paid all that money to hire these lovely motor boats and they wouldn't let me or the kids have a drive, the mean lot of foreigners!
