Went through here in the middylands about two hours ago. Thunder, lightening, rain, hail, the works. Never see two fellas get off a scaff erection job as quick as that before! (House over the road looks like it's gonna be re-roofed. Great, that means a week of working nights and NOT sleeping days to come <sigh>)

In the last few minutes squall passed through here, 48knots gust boat over by about 20°, gin slid off table, multiple lightning strikes.

Am now wrapping myself in cooking foil and clutching glass.
