Had a walk out today with her indoors and the little Pooch. Went to Orford and took this. Some of you might like it

I find it difficult to agree with the title of this post
The video (well filmed I might add) just goes to show what a boring coast line it is from the sea. Even from the air there is little to get excited about- Ploughed fields, wetlands & the odd hamlet. One cannot really get excited about that -- can one? having lived on the Scottish borders for a few years have possibly spoiled me.
Clearly there is wildlife to look for, but one can see that elswhere. Sailing round the UK, as I have, the east coast does have some bits of interest, but in the main it is just low & of little to excite ones juices. Probably, on balance, the most dire of the whole coast. A few "isolated " spots elsewhere excepted of course.
But for actually sailing- Then it is the east coast for me every time. I have kissed too many of its sandbanks to want a divorce now.

I guess it depends if you like mud, rivers and estuaries.
Personally, I feel a wonderful sense of homecoming when I see the water at the transom turn from blue to brown.
