WD40 on electric panel

I use silicone spray on the panels in the cockpit ie key hole for engine and other switches. I dont like WD 40 because its messy and only suitable for rusty things.

Am I doing good, bad or nothing much for the panels?

ACF-50 - kills rust dead, repels water and is used to protect electrics ;)

Plus Gas - for penetrating tight fasteners!

WD-40, it's like Waxoyl everyone sells it but there are far better products for the job... Dinitrol or Bilt Hamber before you ask ;)

For corrosion blocker the answer is easy. Anything that will prevent oxygen and or water getting to the metal.

Think oil, grease, Vaseline and petroleum jelly or in some instances a vacuum. :)

To a certain extent, but if there is any moisture and oxygen present when you apply the grease. vaseline then you have a corrosion cell, the addvantage of the chemical reactions with corrosion blcok and acf-50 is they remove moisture from the surface and stop the corossion cells. So it is far better than just a protective layer.
