Hi there, this is my first time on the site and I am hoping someone can help as I've not had much success with finding out any information so far about a boat we have just purchased.
What I want to know is how to discover the history of our boat, all I know is that it was probably manufactured in the 1980's by the Wavey Rider marine ltd Tollesbury in Essex and is a WR1074, I do know that Wavey Rider is no longer in existance and may now be Mayland marine boats?
We hope to fully restore our lovely boat and I would love to find some of the original documentation that would have belonged to her, If anyone can help in any way we'd be very greatful, also can any tell me where to get a folding seat suitable for a boat?
regards
Sarah

Sarah, you are not having much luck with replies are you?
Why not try the classic boat forum?
You may find that they are a different sort of anorak as they seem to love lots of restoration work rather than sailing!
