is there any books which will give my a map and details of UK waterways...navigatable canals. similar to "the waterways of europe"

Once you have the overall map, there are more detailed guides to each section of waterways available when you know where you are going.

(What a long link) and blurry 'ell 30 quid. No overall map, but mentions pretty well everything (Except my local one) including many lon abandoned. A great amount of detail. Suits any anorak.
